The main objective of the conference is the presentation of research results and scientific discussion on the current state and prospects of entrepreneurship, innovation and modern technologies in stimulating sustainable economic development at the macro-, meso- and micro-economic levels.

The analysis of the current economic literature allows us to state that the last few decades have been a period of blooming of numerous economic concepts and models considering sustainable development of the economy. The idea of stimulating economic growth through innovation and entrepreneurship is one of the areas that requires new development trajectories and a holistic and systemic approach. There is a need for in-depth scientific reflection in search of answers to the following questions:

What are the sources and perspectives of contemporary entrepreneurship?

What is the role of entrepreneurship and innovation in stimulating socio-economic development?

What mechanisms and instruments shape entrepreneurship and innovation in enterprises, sectors and the economy?

What role do state, regional and local organisations play in stimulating entrepreneurship and innovation in enterprises, sectors and the economy?

How does technological development stimulate the innovativeness of enterprises, sectors and the economy?

What is the relevance of modern technologies in the development of economic dynamics on a local, regional, national and international scale?

The thematic scope of the International Scientific Conference focuses on current interdisciplinary issues, concerning not only the role of entrepreneurship and innovation in stimulating socio-economic development, but also on the impact of technological progress on the innovativeness of enterprises, sectors and the economy.

The conference will contribute to the scientific debate on empirical research and theoretical and conceptual achievements concerning the support of entrepreneurship and innovation by the state and market institutions, with a particular focus on digital transformation. Moreover, the conference will have a special character as, apart from its scientific value for economic sciences, it will celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Chair of Entrepreneurship and Innovation of the Cracow University of Economics and the 50th anniversary of cooperation between the Cracow University of Economics and the Economic University in Bratislava.
